Planning a trip to Orlando next year probably in March (Spring Break) to do some bass fishing, plus a couple of days at Disney.

What are some of the better lakes within a 1/2-1 hour drive from Orlando to bass fish?

Probably looking to rent a house or condo to stay in for the week as there will be 5 or 6 of us and want to save on food, and lodging expense. Anyone know of any companies that rent houses in the area? I am able to use Armed Forces Vacation Club and see they have some properties in the Orlando area, but a little to early to book anything.

Any other info you could help me with would be great!

    Thanks

There's Lake George and the St. Johns River about 30 minutes North of there.

Stick Marsh/Farm 13 voted in Bass Master in the top 100 lakes in America. More fish per acre than any lake in Florida. www.haulinbassguide.com Capt Mike
