We are planning on running over to Bootle Bay near West End later next week and plan on trying to hunt down some YFT's and dolphin. Curious if anyone has been over recently with any reports. Other forums seem to indicate the dolphin bite has been good but yellow fins a bit sketchy.

We had a terrific trip over to West End/Bootle Bay with a crossing in near perfect conditions on 5/8. We had a large NE swell related to the low pressure system that had moved up to the Carolina's but no wind and crossed to West End in two hours. Since it was a Friday the customs officials were looking to get their weekend started and we move through that process in 5 minutes. We then headed down to Vida's place at Bootle Bay. We had a great day fishing for muttons and yellow tails north of Memory and also caught some giant AJ's on a wreck north of the rock. Dove some conch for dinner on one of the days which was expertly prepared by LaShanda and Linda at BB. We're not very good at the trolling thing but did round up a few cuda's which the locals were happy to see at the dock. Some friends came in on a beautiful SeaVee and scored a couple of beautiful dolphin in the 30lb class while we were there. Great trip overall with a crossing back to WPB in two hours and 15 minutes.
