    Pelagic Hunters Tournament

    Registration: May 4th-July 3rd
    Entry Fee: $50.00 per Angler ($100.00 per team)
    Registration Fee: $5.00 per Angler
    Date: July 11, 2015
    Start: 6:00 am EST – All Teams Must Take A Picture with their Wrist Bands & Kayak along with the Sun Rise in the back ground. The day of the tournament.
    End: 4:00 pm EST

    All participating teams must launch from any public accessible beach from Broward County to Palm Beach County (Southeast Florida.)
    All participants will be issued a tournament token/bracelet that can either be picked up or mailed out to you upon paying for tournament entry. You must take a picture(s) of each catch with token and in kayak in clear view.
    You may fish in a different location from your teammate, but both members of your team must be at the designate location together at 2:00pm and no later than 4:00pm for weigh-in for their catch to count.

    In the event of inclement weather, the host of the tournament will determine whether the tournament will be rescheduled.

    Tournament Rules:
    You must have a teammate upon registering for the tournament.

    Include your name and teammate whom you will be fishing with in special instructions via Paypal checkout.

    Kayak/Canoe/SUP. Tandems are allowed (as long as both anglers using that tandem are paid participants)

    All participants must:
    *Wear a personal flotation device (PFD) at all times on the water during the event
    *Have a saltwater license, measuring device, and safety flag with whistle
    *Abide by state bag limit laws

    Although not mandatory at this time to participate in the tournament. We at We Yak Too Highly recommend that each team, or participant if fishing separate from team member have a VHS radio on hand. Safety is a priority.

    All Kayaks Anglers are responsible for their own well-being and determination of safe sea conditions. Each team understands that We Yak Too will not be responsible for your safety. Fish at your own risk.
    All fish must be legal size.

    No refunds. Prize and placement(s) depends on total teams that enter the tournament.

    Okay Pelagic Hunters Tournament is a Team event but to keep the individual challenge and thrill of the Hunt, we have a Prize worth over $225.00 for the angler with the highest weight accumulation.

    Target Specie(s): Kingfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi (Dolphin)
    In the event there’s a tie, the heaviest fish of the tying teams will be the determining factor.

    We believe in safety first. At all-time ensure you are in compliance with U.S. Coast Guard and State rules and regulations for the area that you will be kayaking

    All fish presented for weigh-in must be fresh, in edible condition, and must be caught on tournament day.

    By registering for this tournament, the angler(s) agrees that all anglers and occupants of their kayak will abide by all tournament rules and release We Yak Too from any damages and/or injuries of any sort including, but not limited to bodily injuries and death.

    I'm interested in this tournament. I have only done back country flats on yak and sup. How deep to catch these fish? Also, if you catch a big fish, how are you expected to bring it into the weigh in on a board? Thanks for any help
