The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23, to discuss the management of aquatic plants in five Tallahassee area lakes (Jackson, Carr, Iamonia, Miccosukee and Munson).
The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 170 at the Carr Building, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., Tallahassee.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an overview of vegetation and aquatic habitat management that has occurred on these lakes in Leon and Jefferson counties and obtain public input on any future management efforts. Various FWC subject matter experts with FWC will be available to discuss the management and answer questions.
