Hey y’all been meaning to post more just caught up with work.

The Trout bite has been real steady and we’ve been catching some quality fish. Throwing all plastics. DOA Bait Busters and CAL jigs, split tail jerk baits and paddle tails. Fishing moving water and finding bait has been key. On the east bank of he IRL we’ve found some good schools of trouts, and jacks. Bigger trout have been in ambush spots....if there is a good drop off from the flat with moving water they wait for that bait to present itself and smack it. Snook have been making an appearance off the docks on the west side. More of my bites have been in the shallower side of the docks not always in the shadow lines. But moving water is key. And when you find bait I always make a few extra casts to ambush points that look fishy. Cal jigs and doa shrimp have been my bait of choice on the west side. I’ve seen a few tarpon roaming the flats and on the docks in the west side as well.

Have at them!
