The kid and I got to go out on the Hubbards 12 hour trip Thursday aboard the Friendly Fisherman. It was a blast to go out on the big boat to deep water. The water temp was good at 72 and the wind was out of the southeast around 12 mph. We made a long ride out to 140 feet and started our day. Capt. Chris had a wreck he wanted to try. Well he was right on it. AJ after AJ came over the side with 10 or so going in the box. I got the big fish at 27 pounds. StowawayBoy got a nice one to. The bait for the AJs was pinfish so everyone around me shared my pin's if they did not have any. After the bite turned off we headed to some spots looking for grouper and snapper. The bait then turned to cut bait. Tons of grouper red and gagg came over the side. The snapper bite was good to with many ARS and mango snapper being caught. Capt. Chris did a great job finding fish all day and not sitting to long if the bite was slow. All in all StowawayBoy and my self got a big AJ and a nice red grouper to take home. What is good about Hubbards is the wreck fishing then they also got some good grouper #s too. I made a clip for you see on blip TV so check it out. cool
