The weather here is almost perfect. Mid 80’s during the day, mid 70’s at night, with an ocean breeze. The only weather variable is rain.

Rainy season used to be well defined, but over the last couple of years, it’s not on schedule.

Regardless, if it does rain it’s usually not for long, although the sky can dump a lot of moisture quickly and minor flooding occurs.

The other contributing factor to flooding is that this area is under sea level, so drainage only occurs on a falling and low tide.

I could live here when I retire, but I won’t.

This morning is sunny, light breeze and very pleasant.

As soon as I finish morning coffee, I’ll head out for a jog. Get some sunshine and loosen up the body.

What a nice day. Sunny, nice ocean breeze all day, got some sun during my jog.

The sky let loose last night and it absolutely poured rain for about 30 minutes last night.

It was so loud it woke me up. Not woke me, but disturbed my sleep.

We’ve had some rain from the tropical disturbance that will eventually turn into a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico next week.
