Where do I throw my line!?! I’ve searched and searched and haven’t ever found a clear answer. The sonar is on the stern of the boat just starboard of motor. When the sonar/finder beeps and shows a fish, assuming they fish stays on its course, which way do I throw the lure?? I know I know but I said it was a stupid question

At the time the fish shows up on your sonar screen, the fish is behind the boat assuming you are moving forward. Drop a WP on the fish on the screen, turn the boat around and cast to the WP.
