Mullet run is a go! Bait is plentiful beaches, intercostal, canals all loaded up with mullet schools. The past week high water levels due to new moon made for great conditions on the beaches. Lower tides made for excellent conditions for anglers fishing inside bays, bays, canals and channels.

The snook are being caught near any structure on the intercostal. Sea walls, points great areas to target snook as mullet school up in theses areas. Snook can be seen crashing bait schools. Larger snook still gathering near deep channels. Live baits, DOA BaitBusters and Rapala skitter walks great baits to get the snook to strike.

Tarpon fishing has been fantastic along the beaches as they ambush mullet schools. Schools of tarpon take advantage working together striking these mullet pods. Intercostal holding plenty of tarpon as well, outgoing tide really turns fish on as bait gets flushed out towards channels. Live mullet free lined, DOA Terror Eyz and DOA BaitBusters entice strikes from the silver king.

In the mix big schools of jacks, bluefish, sharks, lady fish and triple tail all corralling the mullet pods striking in rhythm creating feeding frenzies. Rapala skitter walks, DOA BaitBuster and live baits get the strike.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
