im new to the forum and to the bradenton/manatee county area!i just moved from the fortlauderdale/bocaraton area on the other side of the coast.i had just pickup bass fishing because of a friend and loved it! i never really caught anything big but we allways caught something when we went out to fish.we dident have a boat we just stop at every pond we came across and no one cared.we caught and released so no one ever gave us any [censored]!then i moved to this side of the coast and i have no clue were to fish?all the local ponds are eather empty or theres some old cranky person runing me off the pond.it doesent help that im brown and look black!i guess its a problem for some people around hear. i tryed some of the huge parks in mayaka but without a boat i dont have much luck!i moved into a place with a pond/river on it but turns out its brackish all i have caught in it is snook and snaged some talapia.can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction?

oh ya i have looked up the different baits for bass and tryed to learn as many of them as possible and how to use them but im not sure i know them all and if the method i learned is correct.not to tell you guys how to run the forum but some one should make a sticky with all the different baits, what thay look like and how to use them. it will keep noobs like me from asking the same questions all the time and probably bring more atention to the forum when some one googles how to yous sertine baits for bass.just a thought hope i dident offend anyone.thanks for anyhelp!
