First time was 1980, thought I found one that could handle it but alas divorced again in 1993.
Now, my wife is my tournament partner. Atleast I don't have to split the checks we win... She get's it all cry
Anyone else suffer/or blessed with the same?

Me and Caroline, have a agreement.

She understand what I do and when I need to do it.
BUT she also knows at a drop of a hat I will cancel all my plans and stay home with the family.

When I'm HOME I'm HOME. Spend time with the family and put fishing on the back burner till they go to bed or I have free time.

Before we got married we sat down and had a HEART to HEART. We understand we need alone time, Family time, us time.

    I'm 27 she's 25 we have been married 8 years, have a 6 year old and 9 month old.

I believe there are 3 C's to a marriage and 3 F's for ME about fishing. My wife and I live BY these.

    3 C's
    Commitment
    Communication
    Compromise

    3 F's
    FAITH
    Family
    Fishing

yes the first always complained that I was gone 2 weekends a month .One for prefishing and the other the tournament.
My upgraded newer model loves to see me fish and it helps me be easrier to get along with. The downfall is that when I buy lures I have to buy two of eveything cause she wants her tackle box full too. To bad she doesnt know that Ive been stealing her baits.hahaha

    Here fishy fishy
