I have fallen in love with the new Phenix bass rods I recently discovered them at a tackle show last year.
I had some of the original phenix rods from the 1970s but didnt think they existed anymore.
these rods are thin strong and sensative.
the reel seat fits reels firmly without slop.
the guides are all sic for fishing braid I used one of them for bull reds in venice a few months ago and they held up well on 20lb fish.
I lived in Lauderdale and did a lot of fishing out there but I dont remember ever seeing these rods out there has anyone had a chance to see or fish them yet?

A guy near me in Texas was selling them for $110 for 3 plus shipping.I was thinking about getting 3 but am moving to Ft Myers area. May get them after i get settled in. They look pretty goot, specially for the price. If you want more i can send you the link or just go to Texasfishingforum.com and look on fishing classified for L'villerat. He also carries the wave spin reels that look interesting
