I am going to cape san blas in 3 weeks.I am planning on going surf fishing every day im down there.Is it ok to use a open reel freshwater reel with 60 pound test on a deep sea rod?My other question is what bait do I use to catch the small bait fish.I just ordered a mini pen fishing reel and rod so i can use it to catch the small bait fish....What size hook should i use also?
