I spend maybe 2 months out of every year in Florida..never done much fishing down there except off shore with my Father. I have always been intrigued about the peacock bass in Florida Canals..mainly south Fl if I'm correct. Any of ya'll have any experiences?

Yozuri lures, Rapala x-raps and small jigs all work great.

Speaking peacocks, my father and I are headed out there in March for his birthday. Can anybody suggest a soft plastic color combination that might help the chance of catching fish? I can make my own worms, I just don't know what the local fish like?
