I'm headed to Texas tomorrow for 30 days of relaxing and a lot of fishing. I'm new to catfishing, but will be visiting a tournament on Nov 13 at Lake Braunig near San Antonio, just to see what it's all about. See www.southtexascatfish.org. Well, with the best on intentions to "learn" about Texas catfish my attention was diverted to bream fishing. We did catch one 4 lb blue cat but bream ruled the day. I still plan to start catfishing this month in the Choctawhatchee River. The river is a strong cat producer, it's just that I have never put any effort into cats. Will post a Texas Bream report in the Freshwater Reports section.
