I picked up Steven Rogers, his wife Valarie their son Jason and his girlfriend Kimmie at 830 this morning. With the east wind blowing, I knew plan B was going into action. Fishing a deep hole near a dock and a grass flat the snook and reds were cooperative, they caught snook reds snapper and trout , the bite was hot and we had 2 slams by 10:00. Moving around the rest of the day was the pattern, 2 or 3 bites and time to move. We made our way to the pass only to find the docks I wanted to fish covered up! So we headed to the beach on the sand bar we saw a snook that was in the upper 40's but he saw us too and swam away without incident. We headed to the trussell to fish the last of the outgoing tide and got another 10 or 12 snook then came the storms.
Here is the pic of Kimmie's first snook, using 10 lb power pro she managed to unwrap her from the pilings like a pro!
