I will be traveling to Perdido Key for a week at the end of July. I want to do some fly-fishing, but I dont really know where to go or what to use. Any suggestions? I figured clousers would be good, but what size? What can I catch right off the beach? If there are any creeks/rivers around the Perdido Key area that would be great also! Freshwater or saltwater works for me. I just want to use the right flies to catch some fish. Any types of fish. I will be using a 8wt rod for the ocean & will bring a 4wt for small creeks! Thaks!
