Actually, there is decent catfishing here in Florida. You can go to the St. Johns River where you'll catch a number of large catfish. e.g. <- that means example for you guys in Texas. ( Blue Catfish, Brown Bullhead, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish, White Catfish, Yellow Bullhead) I mostly use cut bait or chicken liver, fished on the bottom.
