I went down to the inlet today to fish the rocks and brought my mask, flag, and fins just in case the vis was nice. So happened to be when I got there. I didnt even bother fishing, since I had the night before, so I grabbed my gear and hopped in at the pocket of the north jetty. As soon as I jumped in I saw huge balls of greenies, some mullet, and croakers, all getting busted by medium to slot size snook, farther down the rocks I spotted the first bug, I dove down to it and snapped a shot which I will post when they are developed, then continued drifting down the rocks. Not 30 seconds after the first spotting, I saw a second but slightly smaller bug crawling with the current, got his shot and kept drifting. Nearing the tidepool I started to search the rocks over one last time for any other bugs. just as I hit the tide pool I saw what I thought was some kind of blennie but when I swam closer I noticed it was a tiny tiny lobster. barely the size of my palm sitting in this little crevace on the edge of the rocks. I got his pic too and am deff goin down south tomorrow morning to get some big guys for dinner. Fun day with all the sights tho. Get down there while you can. Never know whats gonna happen here In florida!
