    That is how they got started.

    Some asian resturant here in the states had them imported for his pond behind the resturant to raise to feed to his customers

    Then there was a major flood and the carp exscaped.
    The asian carp are in the Missippi river through out the north eastern USA,

    They grow twice and three times as regular fish and they are eating off all the game fish as we know it.

    They get upwards of 10-12 lbs in about 2 years, and get even bigger

    Do a google search for asian carp, or invasion of asian carp
    It wont be long before they are in Texas, unless the eastern US can figure out how to stop them
