Cedar Creek Lake Wednesday morning November 16th with Milton Meadows, Eric Emeritz and Wayne Kilgo. With light north wind and fog (visibility good), we launched at Don’s Port and spent the next three and half hours in search of sand bass and hopefully a hybrid or two. Majority of the fish were caught in the Enchanted Island area in 12 to 14 feet of water. The same dept of water produced fish at the tennis courts and yellow house west shoreline. All fish caught on rainbow silver shad slab with a few on Eric’s chartreuse cheater above his slab. Ended a morning of fishing with 66 big sand bass, 20 inch hybrid (released), 2 nice blue catfish, 2 big crappie and several keeper size yellow bass. Most of the fish caught vertical jigging with a few on the cast out reel in method. Water temperature range from 63.5 to 64.5 degrees.
