Newbie to this forum looking for insight/advice. Grew up in Central FL about 50 yrs ago. Planning a trip in March/April/May to fish out of Titusville area. Anybody got any advice or info that might be helpful regarding general areas or tactics for success. I understand that there are "pole or troll" areas specified in some areas nowadays. Are there any good charts of these areas? Thanks for any help.

It's tough to find info on that area on the web. Here are a few guides in the general area.

I would get a map to make sure you don't get in restricted areas. Being the idiot I am, the first time I pulled up to a reef with buoys in Florida, I started to drop anchor. Luckily someone yelled, "Hey, what are you doing dumb***?"

Can anyone suggest a source for charts/maps of the area so I can stay out of trouble?

    Thanks.

From what I can tell, none of these show specifics of where "pole or troll" (i.e., restricted) zones are. Are these areas identified by actual physical markers? Thanks, again.

Just go to the local FWC office when you get there or check out - http://myfwc.com ... or talk to a local guide. It is not difficult to find out where they don't want you running the big motor.
