    Wherever you fish this hold true. Stay safe out there.
    A friend of mine went under water for half a block when the edge of a sand bar unexpectedly broke off under his weight. It threw him into current and he was lucky to touch bottom so he knew which way was up. He thought he was done for.

    Thanks Bo, it's good to know. One fellow told me of his and the wife's experience with water opening up between him and the bank on a big river. He said "Never again would he go out on a sand bar."
