New guy here. I'm headed to IRB on the 14th. In additon to beach fishing and a couple of charters I am taking while there(12 days), I am bringing my own boat rig for the party boat out of Johns Pass. Can someone tell me how to set up the slip sinker and hook rig they use while fishing squid pieces for snapper etc?. I would like to bring my own tackle.
Thanks in advance for the help. We don't get much of this kind of fishing in KC!
    John

I should have mentioned. This is a 7' Med. Action rod with a Penn 320gti. 40# mono. Thanks again for the help.
