    Howdy,

Anyone know anything about patenting for fishing lures? I have a few ideas, one specific in particular, that I am interested in getting a patent for.

I have all the specs on paper, and now looking into creating the necessary molds. Once I am able to do this I should be able to get a protoype together.

    Then...?

Thank you for all of the information and help!

Thus far, it has been somewhat of an overwhelming process. I have my depiction, complete with comprehensive description, of the "lure system," but am stuck on where to go next. I am wondering if I need more than the current prototype I have constructed out of random office supplies and old lures. Or, is my current progress suficient in getting the patent processing started?

I am concerned about the fees of soliciting a lawyer to assist at this juncture, but I firmly believe that it will pay off in the long run.

I am a new business start-up who may be getting ahead of myself. Nonetheless, I appreciate tipping me off to finding an attorney. I feel that may be the best place to start.
