    What size of baits should i use off the gulf beach around destin for bigger sized sharks, and whats the best fish to use for sharks. also whats the best shark to eat.

    Over here in Texas we used Jack Cravelle for the big fish. It's also common to use Cownose rays as they are more naturally found in the surf. Good Luck.

    Cudas are also a good bait. A tennis ball size chunk on a 10/0 hook works well if you are casting it. Bigger if you are dropping it straight down. Don't bury the hook in the bait. Leave the barb and plenty of the bend free so you can get a good hook set. Use a long steel leader. Black Tip are good eating but they should be gill and tail cut to get the blood out before they die.

    usually a fish that is bloody.
    ladyfish, bonita, bluefish to name afew.
