I have written a series of fishing articles/guides specifically geared towards saltwater fisherman. When I am done the guide will include between 20-30 species profiles and articles covering everything from trolling techniques in blue water to fishing for pinfish with kids. Have a look and let me know what you think, I am always looking for honest feedback.

http://www.squidoo.com/trolling-basics from this link you can connect to all of the other fishing related articles. Thanks for the feedback- Glen.

Let me know what you think, and if there is anything that could be reworded to make it clearer.

    http://www.squidoo.com/sheepshead-Fishing-tips-and-techniques

Newest article written today. I got out and did some sheepshead fishing yesterday but the weather was [censored]. Still managed a few though, and the are good eating even when the weather is bad.

Good article. I always considered them trash fish, used to catch them in the Sea of Cortez.
    Will a circle hook work?

A circle hook works with the float rigs, but I don't like them for the dropper rig. Often times if the bait is near the bottom the sheepshead will just nip at it, and you won't feel the bite until he is leaving. With a floating bait, the sheepshead will grab the bait and swim down before swallowing it, and you can tell exactly when to start reeling to get the hook set. Fish that hit near the surface are oftentimes more aggressive than the fish staying near the pilings in deeper water, so that also helps with the circle hook. If you do use circle hooks, open them up a little bit and you will get much better hook-up rates.
